The plate from Prauzhda village. An attempt to read it.
A stone plate was brought to me by my friend Mr. Emil Tsankov. The plate was found in a private vegetable garden in the village of Prauzhda, located some 6 km away from the town of Belogradchik, Bulgaria. The plate was found by a granny while cultivating her garden. Unfortunately, the cultivation process has done some damage to the plate but anyway this made it possible to be discovered.
Both sides of the plate contain carvings. What is very interesting is that the carvings on both sides differ in style and technology used to carve it.
I will use the following marking for the sides:
Side 1 contains shallow carvings except for the two „holes“. The lines are shallow and curved to some extent. It is obvious that they have been made by hand.
Side 2 contains very deep, straight and distinguishable carvings. What is very confusing here is the profile of the cuts:
This profile must be the imprint of the cutting tool and technology. What fits best the shape of the cuts is a rotating cutting wheel:
It is strange, because the plate definitely looks old and by no means is supposed to have been carved using a rotating dick on a stand. Both are pretty hard to produce. Fist, one has to produce the cutting or abrasive disk, then he or she has to make the axes, joints and bearings. The task is too complex but the marks on the stone plate are clear and the used technology is clearly distinguishable.
The other peculiar feature of this plate is that the carvings on both sides totally differ in style and symbols. They look as if produced by different people for different purposes.
My initial suggestion was the following: there was a person with poor crafting skills but he needed to create some record. He was not skilled in ceramics making although this would be the easier way to create a plate with inscriptions. The stone is very hard to scratch but it was easier for him to search for a piece of stone with suitable shape instead of baking ceramics. So he managed to find a suitable stone plate and used an existing cutting device with a rotating cutting disk. He started to cut on Side 2 but he soon realized that thus he can create only straight lines and can not really well control the length of the lines as they were formed as imprints of the disk.
Therefore he decided to cut a new inscription on Side 1 – by hand.
Well, I had another suggestion – that the plate of Prauzhda village was created before the invention of ceramics but this is unbelievable as ceramics is known to exist at least since 25 000 BCE an then this plate must be of a tremendous age.
So far, the first suggestion is more acceptable – the man was forced to write down something important in a period of a catastrophe when there was no skilled person to cut the carvings.
Then we move to what is present on the sides.
What I see here are the following symbols:
Because I have an extensive experience with the paintings of Magura cave, I can recognize a number of symbols. It is true that those may not represent Magura cave symbols but they look like them.
First of all, we have a similarity to male figures in their state of sexual excitement:
These figures participate in the following sexual scenes depicted in Magura cave:
Then, a female figure in Magura cave is recognized due to her cross-like shape. Therefore the cross-like symbol of the right side may mean „female“ or a „woman“.
It is a long explanation, but female figures in Magura cave are created by adding the T symbol to the symbol of the male spirit:
Thus the symbol T is related to femininity and on the plate we find double confirmation that the symbol on the right side is a woman. Thus I recognize a typical sexual scene from Magura cave cut on this plate.
In Magura, there is a certain type of grammar. What is on the right side, is the cause. The behavior of the figure on the left side is caused by the figure on the fight side. Therefore, the woman is the cause of the sexual scene here and the man is acting according to the woman.
Now the interest goes to the tree-like of palm-like symbol. There is a legend that the initial spring/source is next to the cedars and they mark the entrance. This is the Garden of Eden. Now we see Adam and Eve committing the first sin in human history, just before they are expelled from Eden.
But there is the book „The Thracian chronicles“ (I translate the title literally). It says that Adam and Eve were not really expelled. They just were not able to remain in Eden any more. Because all beings in Eden were of light and after the sin the bodies of Adam and Eve became more solid and darker so they a kind of „fall down“.
But they did not appear on Earth directly in human bodies. No. For a very long time they passed some transformation. During all this period they went many times across the land and returned to a cave. The appeared on Earth inside a cave where they gradually transformed into flesh. Note it: the cave is a symbol of the womb.
The location of this cave is described: to the north from The Great mountain
(The Balkan); to the south from The Great river (Danube); to the west of The Great water (Black sea). The location of the cave is the Danube plain on the territory of modern Bulgaria. I suspect that this is Magura cave for two reasons.
The book says that during the period of transformation, God sent his Speech many times to help Adam and Eve and to give them everything needed. Indeed, there are many prehistoric paintings in Magura cave which contain very advanced knowledge for which I think was given to people by God. And I mean by God-Speech. I hope that some day I will manage to translate all this blog and this will become clear.
Then, the paintings in Magura cave describe the whole process of transformation of light (spirit) into denser states – soul and body. Therefore the transformation process of Adam and Eve into humans is described in the cave.
Now, let’s move to Side 1.
It is obvious that the reading depends of the orientation of the plate. For now, let’s start with the following orientation:
There is a horizontal line along the middle of the plate which serves as a border. There a symbols above and below the border.
In this orientation we easily recognize the Sun – a star with eight rays. It is strange that the Sun is below the border, which is located in the lower world.
The symbols here would look this way:
rays, a plant?
God, lord, noble (according to the books „The Thracian script decoded“ by Stephan Guide)
to spread, to give (according to the books „The Thracian script decoded“ by Stephan Guide)
God who spreads, who gives
support, help, column (according to the books „The Thracian script decoded“ by Stephan Guide)
God, who grants support
Having in mind that God is located above the Sun, we may read it in this way: The Heavenly Lord, who brings (grants) support. Or in the following way: The support of the heavenly order.
Inside the triangular „body“ of the Heavenly Lord there are symbols, which most probably clarify his personality:
The three symbols Y inside it (along one of the sides) may mean „the three foundations (columns, supports) of the heavenly order“. Then this is the triune God who sustains the heavenly order.
Then there is another triune symbol:
The spine of the world, the columns of the world, Thrace, a Thracian, Thracian (according to the books „The Thracian script decoded“ by Stephan Guide)
Thus we see two confirmation that this Heavenly Lord supports the heavens on three supports.
Temple, Orpheus (according to the books „The Thracian script decoded“ by Stephan Guide)
The Lord of Thrace on his Throne and with his staff.
Here is an attempt to arrange the features:
Heavenly Lord, governor of the three supports of Being, who bears the column of the heavenly order. The triune Heavenly Lord, whose throne is the spine of the world, supported by the temples in Thrace.
An additional reading:
The Lord of Thrace is from the Heavenly Lord who supports the heavenly order. The Throne of the Lord of Thrace is supported on the order of the temples. The Lord of Thrace is from the very God and is the supreme Lord of the temples (the supreme priest).
Thus we reach the other orientation in which the Sun is at the top:
Now the line along the middle of the plate is the border between heaven and Earth. The Sun is located in its normal way – above everything. The rays on the right side of it may represent some heavenly radiance, illumination.
The Holy Spirit is usually represented as a heavenly radiance. I believe that it has been depicted on the plate.
Under the border we find the Earth. Let’s see what there is.
In Magura cave, when we see a triangle pointing up, this is the spirit striving to get free from the shape and body and reach the eternal life. This is the male aspect of the spirit. Such a spirit we had in the previous orientation of the plate.
In this orientation there is a triangle pointing down which, according to Magura, is a spirit striving to get shape and body to experience lower life.
Thus the heavenly spirit (radiance) reaches to the following symbol:
Bread (according to the books „The Thracian script decoded“ by Stephan Guide)
But see, bread is baked in furnace. Furnaces has this configuration. In Bulgarian, the word for furnace is пещ [pesht] and the word for cave is пещера [peshtera], and the symbol for a cave is the same. A dialect form of the word cave пещера [peshtera] is печ [petch]. The word stove печка [petchka] derives from it as well as the word for vagina пичка [pitchka]. And the vagina is very similar to the cave. A cave may be a symbols which represents the vagina as well as the furnace may be a symbol for the vagina. The baking of the bread may be a symbols for the pregnancy.
So, this symbols means a number of interconnected things as well as mother.
Thus we see the striving to incarnate heavenly spirit, who descends to the cave, which is the symbol for the womb and for the bread, which on its turn is a symbol for flesh.
And this is how Lepenitsa cave looks:
The vault of its second story has been artificially cut to achieve this shape.
And the symbol on the plate has been deliberately cut deeper to emphasize that it is a hole, a cave.
Ark, sarcophagus, sacred chest (according to the books „The Thracian script decoded“ by Stephan Guide)
Maybe Lepenitsa cave has been shaped in this way too look like the symbol of the Ark. And the Ark contains the covenant, the „contract“ between God and the Lord of Thrace.
Looking in this direction, the symbols Y become symbols T, which in Magura cave stand for God-Speech, Providence, the construction of things. In Magura, the „spine“
stands for the levels of description, the levels of construction of things. These are the levels of Speech, the levels of the soul and the levels of consciousness.
This is how I would read this side:
The heavenly radiance (the heavenly spirit), through a temple starts the way to incarnation, along which it receives three level of description, three Speeches, and enters the womb (the cave) to complete the incarnation.
Straight to the north from Lepenitsa cave is located the sanctuary of Chachin kamak where Maguran (the later Thracian) rituals were taking place in order to created heavenly inspired Lords.
This almost completes the circle of the necessary information.
I have to add indeed there is a throne on the rocks above Lepenitsa cave:
The throne has been cut on the top of a high rock. Thus we have all the symbols from the plate, including the symbols of the Lord of Thrace:
So far I have come to the understanding that Lepenitsa cave has been created as a place for incarnation of the heavenly spirit as a Lord of Thrace and as a place where he made the covenant with the Heavenly Lord.
I think that the symbol on the plate represents Lepenitsa cave as I have found these ritual basins in the area of the cave:
All of them shaped in the same way therefore they must mean the same thing.
